Towards the murky days ahead

When your good friend has a found a partner, you lose at least half of the friendship time, attention and care.

Leeds: Part 3

Wallahi, I love Leeds.

Have you ever read about the relationship of the Ansar and the Muhajirin? When the Ansar would give food, and shelter for the Muhajirin when they're in need. I'm not that knowledgable about these kinda things but i know that much. Leeds, so far, has treated me like what I would have thought the Ansar would have done for the Muhajirin.

This is for Baitul, Suaidah, Jannah and Nelly.

I didnt want to come initially, because i was tired. Of work, emotions and the pressure. But Allah has a way with things, He made it such, that I got cheap tickets to Leeds and a free ticket to a talk by Sheikh Zahir Mahmood. Subhanallah.

The talk, was amazing. But what i wanted to write about was the genuine care I got from the people here.

Baitul, and her sister only knew me for 3 days. But she cooked for me, gave me ice cream and marshmellows. And she cooked a packed lunch for me. Wallahi, she is one of the best people i know now.  She and her sister. 

And Suaidah, without fail, lended me a place to stay, shared her stuff, bed, listened to my gibberish talk. And its just so good that we're highschool friends. 

Nelly and Jannah came. I mean, came and spent time to see and talk with me. Like coffee time talk. And they have their own things to do but made time. And we barely know each other.

O Allah. Please bless these people.

Please give me the chance to repay the favor, please love them, please protect them. They have touched my heart without knowing it. And taught me how to treat guests, first class. 

Leeds is a long way from Glasgow. And the distance I covered was worth it. To meet people of the best kind, and show a good muslim practice. 

O Allah, murahkanlah rezeki aku, untuk jejak bumi-Mu yang penuh berkah ni lagi. Thank you Allah. All praises be to You.

Doa ini untuk kau

Aku sembang dengan Sarah tadi. Aku cerita perihal pria yang aku suka tu. He Who Must Not Be Named. Sarah tanya aku, "Korang bertukar nombor? Dah lama kenal la ni?"
Aku balas, "Dia tau la kewujudan aku. Aku mampu doa je untuk dia"

Dan saat tu aku cakap, (sebab idea tu datang waktu tu) 'at least, aku dekat dengan Allah sebab aku mendoakan dia'

Kelakar. Kalau lah aku realize benda ni sama macam bila aku mendoakan benda-benda lain dalam hidup aku.
